WEEDING OUT: Education Occupations students beautify the neighborhood

CTE's Education Occupations students grabbed one of the few nice days lately, their favorite gardening utensils and a whole bunch of weeds Tuesday morning. Working on a community service project, the students pulled weeds and prepared flower beds for planting at the Early Learning Center near Larson Elementary in Harrison. The students readied the community garden for other participants to plant flowers in the "Healthy Gardens, Healthy Schools" program. CTE Ed Occs students from Harrison, Clare and Farwell participated in the beautification process on a morning that couldn't have been much nicer.
