SLIDESHOW: Construction Trades Start on the Next Big Thing

That didn't take long. Shortly after noon on Monday, Construction Trades students from Gladwin and Beaverton arrived at the work site where they'll spend much of their time this school year - a (for now) empty lot on Tonkin Street in Beaverton. By the end of the day, they were already measuring, cutting and completely immersed in their work. And by next Spring, the students will have learned to build a completely new home.
