WIN/WIN: CA STUDENTS COOK, HARRISON GIRLS EAT
CTE's Culinary Arts students prepared and served lunches for the Harrison Middle School Eighth Grade Girls Luncheon on Friday. This formal luncheon is an annual event hosted at Mid-Michigan Community College and sponsored by the Harrison Women’s Association. Heidi Rocha, Tara Dutcher and the combined A.M. and P.M. classes prepared the dining area, cooked a delicious meal and served about 100 people.
Observed CTE Program Evaluator Tom House: "I heard only very positive comments about our staff and students and the atmosphere and meal they created."
The Culinary Arts program will cater a similar luncheon for eighth grade girls from Gladwin on February 26th.
