CTE AND MID MICHIGAN COLLEGE HOSTS SENIOR FOCUS DAY 2024

Clare-Gladwin CTE and Mid Michigan College partners to provide the high school seniors in our area with an opportunity to gather information and begin exploring colleges, training programs, and job opportunities so they may begin planning for life after school. Senior Focus Day started in 2018, and approximately 40 businesses, colleges, training programs, and agencies participated. The seniors who participated reported that Senior Focus Day helped relieve some of their stress; they found answers to their questions and gathered new information on job opportunities and college/training programs available. This year, participation grew to over 70 businesses, colleges, training programs, and agencies, and the number of local schools attending increased to 14, bringing more than 700 students to the event. #CTEitsWorking#CGRESD#seniorfocusday
